D.EL.ED Course

D.El.Ed is a 2-year full-time diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Admission process for the course comprises an entrance exam followed by a round of personal interview. The syllabus for the same varies from one college to another. All candidates who qualify the entrance exam are called for an interview. Based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, personal interview and marks obtained, he/she will be provided admission into the course.

D.El.Ed.: Eligibility

Interested aspirants for this course are required to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria: Completed 10+2 from a recognized board Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 are preferred Above 50% marks or equivalent at 10+2 level Candidates who completed their certification program in the stream of science must have 60% or above marks

D.El.Ed.: Admission Process

Admission process for this course in most of the colleges in based on entrance exam which is different for respective institutions. Candidates who cleared this entrance exam are further called for a round of personal interview. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of 10+2 level are asked in the entrance exam. Questions are asked in 3 sections in this exam. Separate cut off list for each section is issued. Those who cleared the cut off are selected for the course in various colleges.

D.El.Ed.: Career Prospects

After completing D.EI.Ed course, professionals may work in roles such as that of teacher, assistant teacher, tutor, student counsellor etc. They may find work in various institutes like: Private schools Government schools Nursery Day care centers Private tuition classes
These graduates can also start their own day care centers or nursery. Apart from this, tuition centers and private coaching centers are other forms of self-employment available for them.
